It has been a while! I'm building an actual website and have therefore neglected this blog. :( Lots happening on my end, here is the brief:
1) I bought a business, and now run it with my business partner. It is in the animal care industry and we currently have 3 employees.
2) I got engaged in August 2013
Film-wise I have been working here and there. Per usual, most of the things I have done are not out yet, but I do have a clip I can share, below:
Tax Act:
I worked on a music video over the weekend for an artist who just got signed to Universal Records. More on that later.

Nightscape - NYC and Soundtrack
Nightscape is one of 9 feature length films to be selected to screen at the NYC HorrorFest and will screen Nov. 9 at the Tribeca Cinemas. Fangoria wrote up a blurb on the festival.
The Nightscape soundtrack is currently available as an MP3 from a number of online retailers, notably, Amazon, CD Baby, Google Marketplace and iTunes. My band Monster-Sized Monsters recorded a track for the soundtrack, so we're on there!
Check out the CD Baby link to hear samples of each track.

Nightscape in Montreal
Nightscape is making it's world premier tonight at the Montreal Comicon/Horrorfest. And finally there is a new trailer for the film! Check it out! I absolutely love the soundtrack- it's been stuck in my head for days.

Traveling
I flew in to Montreal yesterday and met up with the director (David Edwards) and lead actor (Joshua St. James) here in Quebec. I know ZERO French, which makes me feel like a jerk trying to navigate this city. Last night we met up with a couple other filmmakers, including Todd Freeman (Cell Count) for drinks. Jet lagged (in favor of staying up late), we were out until early in the morning. I rounded out the night with a couple hours of Skype video calling, and finally got to sleep around 5am local time.
This morning we all met for brunch and were joined by Nightscape actor (Jorge Madrid) who flew in from Paris. Now that I've downed a couple cups of coffee, I need to get a little work done and then take a nap. Then around 4pm we're off to the convention to pick up our event passes. Looking forward to people watching and movie watching tonight. More updates from the premier to come!

Warped! Concept Shoot
Promotional photo from a concept shoot for TV Pilot "Warped!" I had the pleasure of embodying this character for an afternoon. It was wild, this character is like my polar opposite. Weirds me out. But fun!
By the way, looks like this is my 100th blog post. Hmmmm....

I still haven't seen an updated trailer for the film, but as soon as one is released (any day now?) I'll post it here.
For those who are following this blog, be prepared for a flurry of Nightscape News as it becomes accepted to more festivals, and promotion gets underway.
EDIT 8/21/12: I will be attending the festival in Montreal to promote Nightscape this September! See you there? Official announcement is HERE. You bet I'll be blogging from the festival, just like Tribeca 2011.

Counter Culture//Digital Romance
I have a part in an upcoming project by Ian Stout called Dystopia. Currently there is an Indiegogo campaign out there to raise funds. Check out the video above to get a feel for the film.

Jolene, Jolene
So here I am, procrastinating writing a target market analysis for a marketing plan. I will get to it, I promise. I'm just too damn excited about several other things to focus on work. By the way, I added a third undergrad degree (Advertising), did I mention that? Probably.
For one, I bought a motorcycle. A 1995 Honda Nighthawk 250. I'm learning how to ride it. I'm also hemorrhaging money in armor, helmets and parts, as well as labor hours. But damnit I will learn to work on this thing and ride! She's not yet named but I am thinking Jolene.
Second, remember the film Rid Of Me I had a role in? Well it is showing on the Showtime channel this month (July)! If you have cable or know someone who does, keep an eye out and catch a showing!
Time: Wed, Jul 25 3:00 AM
Channel: SHO 2
Date: Mon, Jul 30 11:35 PM
Channel: SHOWTIME SHOWCASE
Now, back to the ten million things I really should be doing.

If you (like me) do not have cable, I am fairly certain that a streaming Netflix release may be available in the future. For now you can also purchase and watch it on itunes, Blockbuster and Amazon.
Third, I have been working on an untitled film the last couple of months. We are in pre-production right now, getting deep into character development. This is new territory for me... going so deep with a character and having this much prep time. I am learning a lot. The film shoots in September/October. I can't say much about the film at this point, but I will give some more info when I have some more time. Now, back to the ten million things I really should be doing.
