New York City - Tribeca Film Festival: Rid Of Me Premier

Friday April 22 was the world premier of Rid Of Me. It was also my first time seeing the film. I was so impressed! I won't give anything away, but if you have the chance, catch a screening (if in NYC right now) or if/when it comes to theaters, go see it!

"Rid Of Me" Update

So I'm only 2 days away from my flight to NYC (never been before!) and 3 days away from the SOLD OUT world premier of Rid Of Me at the Tribeca Film Festival in NYC! Red carpet and everything.

Also, I didn't know Rid Of Me was actually named after PJ Harvey's album, but it IS!! That's AWESOME!

Remix Nature!

So, remember the Oregon State Lottery commercial I did a couple months back? Well, now they've launched a website where you can remix audio clips/samples from when we were shooting, and make your very own song!

You can add to it, or clear it and make your own. This is wild!

Also, just found out I'm on another billboard, this time for this OSL campaign. I think it's on NE 28th and Glisan, but I haven't gone by there to check yet. Oh, and the Timbers billboard by Powell's was just taken down, but the one on Canyon Road is still up.

Slippage Trailer and Website

The Official Slippage Website is HERE.

And the first trailer is now up! Watch it, share it. It's a psychological supernatural thriller that depicts the breaking down and mental deterioration of a man who experiences severe loss. And aliens.

The London-based magazine AnOther Magazine just published it's latest that includes a shoot I did a few months back! In a few weeks the magazine will be on shelves here in the US, but until then, you can see a preview of the content online at THIS LINK!

OSL TV Spot

Wow, what a wonderful sunny day for March!

I filmed a TV spot for Oregon State Lottery in February and it just started playing on TV. If you live in Oregon, watch for it! Here is a short cut of the spot:

Film Festivals

Tonight was a screening of "The Curio" a 22 minute short by Dicky Dahl wherein I play the character "Cigarette Girl." It screened as part of PIFF or the Portland International Film Festival. I got to be in the audience of this screening, which was held in the Portland Art Museum's theater. Boy my legs were shaking! It looked great on the big screen and everyone involved did a great job!

Tomorrow is a screening of a 6 minute short for the 48 Hour Film Festival. The concept behind the 48hr FF is each film crew/team gets 48 hours to write a script, shoot it, edit it, score it, and submit it. It also has to use specific props, a line of dialouge that is given, and a category that is assigned. This year the overall theme was "Go Green." In this beautiful short, (directed by Bryan Hiltner) I play a late teens/early 20's girl who's father just died. I'm not going to explain it all so if you want to see it, check out the video below! OR if you want to see it on the big screen, come to the Hollywood Theater tomorrow at 7pm. Tickets are $7, but will probably sell out.

In The News!

This post has nothing to do with acting, modeling, or art, but it's worth mentioning.

As you may or may not know, I ride my bike almost everywhere I go. Last week I was biking to Portland State University and KATU News stopped and asked me some questions about biking. I was not fully awake yet and I look like crap but I'm fine with that. GET A HAIRCUT!
